Description

"New Mexico" is a haunting original acrylic painting by Sarah Stupak. A fox peers severely out of a dilapidated window. His eyes reflect the bleached grey sky of the stark world outside. He is a refugee watching the strange world go by through his self imposed quarantine. This painting represents seeing the flaws in societal norms and the inner isolation it brings. 16" by 20" wood panel with 1" sides.

This painting perfectly embodies the statement in your deviant Id. I fell the same pain, and it's heartbreaking to know we can do (almost) nothing about it.

Amazing piece, though. Haunting... And anthropomorphically prophetic. For what we do to animals, we do to ourselves.
